Master Meters are high-precision, calibrated flow meters designed to serve as a reliable reference for the calibration and verification of other flow meters. They are widely used in the petrochemical industry for calibrating positive displacement (PD) meters in tank truck loading bays, as well as pipeline meters used for product transfer between refineries and terminals. Efficient Alternative to Proving Tanks Master Meters provide an effective alternative to conventional proving tanks. They require only one operator and can significantly reduce calibration time, potentially cutting the overall operation time by up to 50%. For enhanced mobility, the Master Meter can be mounted on a trolley, allowing it to be transported easily and positioned close to the meter requiring calibration. This configuration also facilitates transportation between different locations. Product Recovery During calibration, the measured product can be directed to a product recovery line or transferred into a tank truck for subsequent recovery. This allows the calibration process to be carried out efficiently while minimizing product loss.
